Jwan Julius in his statement says that the government reverts the money that parents were paying before the covid .
Initially there was subsidy from the government to caution the problems of unemployment that came due to loss of jobs in the pandemic.

With this the government made the school fees to be low up to 45000 for national and extra county schools.
The County schools and subcounty boarding schools 35000 where the dayschools pays only the lunch fees.
New Changes On school fees beggining January 10th 2023.
With the removal of the subsidy the parents will pay more as we enter the new term.
National and extra county schools will pay 53554 as school fees with other expenses not included in the school fees.
The county and subcounty boarding schools will pay 45000 as school fees , dayschool will remain the safest place as the government will continue to caution them .
They will pay only lunch fee and other expenses the government will give the capitation of 22400.
The expenses are increased due to the tremendous rise in the prices of food stuffs .
