Government announces scholarships for Kenya Certificate of Primary Education students who scored 280 marks and above.
Learners who have special needs and disabilities are highly encouraged to take part in the application process.
Government application scholarships ongoing
The Ministry of Education says, applicants must meet certain levels to get the scholarships.
The Ministry of Education (MoE) announces applications to be filled by KCPE candidates who sat their exams and scored,
A total of 280 marks and above under the Elimu Bora Program.
2023 KCPE scholarships application ongoing
The Ministry, through The Jomo Kenyatta Foundation (JMF) and Equity Group Foundation said it’s awarding secondary school Elimu scholarships.
In the 47 counties. Furthermore, the needy students who scored 280 marks and above in the 2023 KCPE will benefit.
The Ministry also affirm that, learners from vulnerable and marginalized groups with 250 marks and above are also eligible.

The scholarships program will also benefit the refugee learners, both girls and boys from camp based schools and scored favourably.
Additionally, those who sat for KCPE 2023 from public Primary Schools and refugee learners from 49 camp based primary schools are eligible.

Hardships in terms of finance should apply. Students whose families are affected by HIV/AIDS and other chronic
Illnesses with serious effects that could render parents and guardians are unable to take care of their families are also eligible.
KMTC advertises 156 vacancies in 15 Departments.
Furthermore, learners whose families are greatly affected by extreme poverty neglect or even abuse, and have no support can apply.
“Those who have interest, should pick scholarship application forms from the nearest sub-county Education office” the ministry recorded.
