Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu urge more students to venture into nursing courses, he says there are chances abroad.
The Education Cabinet Secretary says the government has partnered with the foreign countries to export practitioners to reduce unemployment.
Good news to nurses in the country
The CS said, the government has signed deals with select foreign countries to export nurses and midwives to reduce employment.
Nurses needed in the UK and Saudi Arabian countries
The aim for this is to reduce the unemployment rates and improve the livelihood of Kenyans and youths at large.
Machogu says the countries pay workers so well and therefore it will help the unemployed youths get well paid.
The CS said this at the Kenya Medical Training College Teso campus in Busia county.

He urged the students to work hard inorder to scoop the positions to work abroad.
According to X platform, the President says the government will sign bilateral agreements so that it can export 3,000 to 5000
Kenyans every week so that they can go work abroad, and bring money back home.
Machogu’s remarks are in line with the governments plans to fight unemployment to and also avail opportunities for Kenyan employees.

Furthermore, if the Kenyan employees abroad get well paid, they will be able to invest back the money in their mother country.
