The Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) speaks on the issue of delays of funds to both new and continuing students.

HELB Chief Executive Officer Charles Ringera assures the government over the release of students funds soon.
He says, the Helb body has a follow up with the Ministry of Information to ensure all students access Helb.

However, Charles says, Helb plans to accommodate all students because, the new students still apply for loans.
Furthermore, CEO Helb says, application ends in October 7 and the grace period is enough for all eligible students to apply.
Ringera says patience is key since they are still following up with the Ministry of Information and the Treasury for funds release.
He also urges both the new and continuing students to remain calm, and that no one has received and funds.
Ringera also encourages those with overdue loans to repay so that they make the body’s work easier on issues of funds.
However, many beneficiaries find it hard to survive smoothly in school because of the lack of enough funds.
Helb promises to ease the release
Many fail to meet their upkeep needs and because of the delay of funds disbursement to their accounts.
Furthermore, Helb social media platforms like Facebook, X and their email is active to ensure all queries are taken care of.
Batch numbers 5026 have already received their disbursement on progress and other students are expected to receive their soon.
Students should regularly visit the Helb Facebook official regularly to avoid misinformation from other unverified sites.

New students who still face difficulties in application of the Helb loans should visit with the Huduma centers or nearest Helb centers.
